This shot has excellent depth ... something I find very hard to capture with forest pics. Great job with the image and the post-production.

I love it Ralf...as Aaron said, it has great depth to it.
I smiled at the title especially considering the title of my own photo for yesterday....we are both Lord of the Rings fans I see.

What really makes it for me is the low angle, which leads us so effectively into the shot.
