Ralf, as you know, I've admired your photos for quite a while here on AM3 and always love your b&w conversions.
I'm struggling to achieve the same sharpness with my landscape orientated photos when I upload them here compared to other photosites - elsewhere like DPReview and photo.net, I simply resize with Photoshop Elements bicubic sharpener to 1024 in the long dimension and they seem fine. Here on AM3, though, those same images appear blurred and not at all crisp. Have you got any advice you can offer please?
(By the way, my portrait orientated photos seem okay resized to 700pixels vertically - I don't have a problem with them!)

Very interesting shot! If one looks only at the lighthouse (?), then it is like the whole picture comes to life and the meeting of the sky and ocean at the horizon, seem to take you with... Very nicely done...
